Mexican Tourist Visa

(take this with you to help you at the immigration office in Mexico)

 

It is the policy of the CUPS Board of Directors that all members of all workgroups obtain tourist visas at the border crossing.  There is no cost for visas issued for less than 7 days.  Each group member will need a valid passport or a CERTIFIED copy of his/her birth certificate and a valid photo ID. Visas must be turned in at the border when you leave the country.

 

If you are not a US citizen, you should contact the US Consulate nearest your home to make certain that you can leave and re-enter the US without problems.  Your driver’s license, with or without a photo is not, by itself, valid proof of citizenship


You will need to fill in a form with the following information.  The form is small print in Spanish and then English. Each line is numbered so if you do not read Spanish, follow the numbers.  Go Slowly.  Be Careful.  You will be given only one form. 

PLEASE HAVE PEN WITH YOU AND READING GLASSES IF YOU NEED THEM.

You will turn it in when you leave Mexico on Friday at ANY departure point
