CUPS is presently working to assist several communities. To get these projects off the ground, CUPS needs both financial contributions to support the work and volunteers willing to give of their time. Volunteer Work Groups help fund their projects but other individuals, organizations and businesses provide important resources, as do foundations. CUPS gratefully thanks donors and workers for all the Christian love, faith and sweat they give to Mexican border communities.  A special way to help is to become a member of the 300 Club by printing out and filling in a 300 Club donation form, either from the simplified PDF version 300 Club (PDF) or from the 300 Club Trifold Brochure. The 300 Club seeks to solicit individual donors who can be counted on to pledge a monthly or annual amount to support CUPS.  The suggestion donation is $25.00 per month, or $300 per year, but amounts less than or greater than this are gratefully accepted, and qualify the donor for membership in the 300 Club.

Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please fill out a 300 Club form, and send it in.  Your donation to CUPS can be made online by credit card at NetworkforGood, or you can send in a check with your 300 Club form.  Make checks payable to C.U.P.S. and return your gift to the following address :

There are other ways that volunteers can help CUPS, often from their own homes.  CUPS tries to reduce overhead costs by enlisting volunteers to help with office duties such as newsletters, bulk mailings, accounting functions, web site maintenance, and numerous others.  Many of these things can be done from your home if you have appropriate computer, telephone, fax, or other type of communication equipment.  To better understand these opportunities for service, contact CUPS at cupshou@cupsmission.org or see our volunteer opportunity listings on VolunteerMatch.

You may also be able to help CUPS by spreading the word about this mission to other people you know.  Most of our volunteers are associated with the churches who sponsor work crews.  Many of these are Presbyterian congregations.  There are often opportunities to meet fellow Christians from other congregations at church conferences, seminars, Presbyterian Cursillos, Walks to Emmaus, etc.  If you make a point of explaining the CUPS mission to attendees at these events, and tell them about your experience with CUPS, the word spreads to new churches.  CUPS board members stand ready to visit churches that express an interest in learning more about our mission, so don't hesitate to put those you meet in contact with CUPS (see contacts page on this web site).  To support you in doing this, we have a very attractive CUPS Trifold Brochure, which can now be obtained from the website - just download both the Inside and Outside portions for printing.  (NOTE: This form is in Adobe PDF format).

Some CUPS volunteers may work for companies that make financial contributions to non-profit organizations in which their employees volunteer (an example is the ExxonMobil VIP program).  If you or a friend of yours has volunteered time to a CUPS work project, we would encourage you or your friend to see if your/their employer offers such a program.
